We did a little shopping on Saturday.
I finally committed to the couch. Unfortunately during the time I was debating about the purchase, Omaha and Kansas City sold out! Ours is on order and may not be in until mid February.
There is a story behind this chest. I am obsessed with mirrored furniture. However, it isn’t cheap and it is way too trendy to spend a lot of money on. This summer Brent and I stumbled across this piece at Mrs. B’s. I knew I loved it, but didn’t buy it. Brent offered to stop back and pick it up if I decided I wanted it. I resisted. By the time we made it back to Mrs. B’s….it was gone. Even though I had decided not to buy it, I was heart broken knowing someone else had it (and got it for a good price).
Well this weekend was the “Mega Clearance” sale at NFM. While Brent was trying to convince me that he needed a double width clearance rocking recliner, we spotted the dresser again. Mrs. B’s had another one….perfect condition…but even better, it was $100 cheaper than it was last time. Brent and I had been looking for a short dresser with an open media cabinet for our bedroom, but we knew for this price we were not leaving it behind.
Now before I had spotted the dresser above at Mrs. B’s, I found this lovely bedside table. LOVE. I had been looking at ordering this one at Home Decorators, but couldn’t commit without seeing it in person. Plus, at the time, that cabinet was on sale for $230. I couldn’t pass this up, so I bought two for our bedroom. Of course, both Kansas City and Omaha were sold out, so we had to order this one also. It should arrive in early February.
At the time, I didn’t know that my dresser was sitting at Mrs. B’s waiting for me. Now I have a predicament. Oh well, maybe they can go together…they would be on opposite walls. Otherwise, I have plenty of places for these! The prices were so good that it was okay to pick up something trendy!
I also bought a sofa table…but I didn’t snap a picture of it! It was also on super clearance too! And gorgeous!
